3d Reconstruction of a brain from MRI data

This video shows a virtual 3d reconstruction created from MRI scan data of H.M.'s Brain.  The red areas are the tissue that was extracted by Scoville during the 1953 surgery to remove part of his medial temporal lobe (MTL).

MRI sequence

This is an awesome volume rendering model. Which mri sequence parameters did you use to make that volume rendering images?. I have tried to use volumetric T1 weighted sequences and the results are not so good and I think it's not a volume selection problem. Thank you.

Sorry, I didn't realize that the brain in the video was H.M.'s brain. Then we are talking about a postmortem study. My previous comment was about in vivo MRI.
